Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Highland Rivers, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead interactive group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for young adults to share their journeys and support one another.

• Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one therapy, delving deeply into personal issues the clients face, helping them navigate their emotional landscapes and develop actionable coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to devise and refine personalized treatment plans that reflect their aspirations, challenges, and progress.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document progress using varied evaluation tools, adjusting treatment strategies based on feedback and outcomes.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive care and a unified approach towards client wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30, many of whom may be grappling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Your expertise and compassionate approach will be vital in helping them navigate these challenges while fostering resilience, hope, and motivation for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
