Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate patients’ mental health needs, leading to tailored treatment plans that address those needs effectively.

• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention services tailored to a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Facilitate engaging therapy groups and workshops focused on enhancing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and personal development topics.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and community organizations, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adult patients facing a range of mental health issues within the hospice environment, which often includes chronic illness, grief and loss, and existential concerns. Your expertise will be vital in helping patients navigate their emotional landscapes, providing them with the necessary tools to cope effectively and promote mental wellness during critical times.

Qualifications\n

• Active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field is required, with preference for candidates holding advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate).
