Vice President, Operations

Position Overview Aveniya is seeking a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Operations to lead and optimize all operational functions across the organization. The VP of Operations will be responsible for developing scalable processes, driving operational excellence, overseeing manufacturing and supply chain activities, and ensuring the successful execution of business objectives. This executive leader will work closely with the CEO, engineering, product development, quality, finance, and commercial teams to transform innovative technologies into efficient, scalable, and commercially successful products. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership capabilities with deep experience in manufacturing operations, process optimization, quality systems, supply chain management, and organizational growth. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company growth objectives. Lead day-to-day operations across manufacturing, production, supply chain, logistics, facilities, and quality functions. Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and operational dashboards to monitor efficiency and effectiveness. Build scalable operational frameworks that support rapid growth and product commercialization. Manufacturing & Production Oversee manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. Drive production planning and capacity management initiatives. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement programs. Optimize workflows, equipment utilization, and production processes. Supply Chain & Procurement Develop strategic sourcing and supplier management programs. Ensure continuity of supply for critical materials, equipment, and components. Manage inventory strategies to balance availability and working capital objectives. Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with key suppliers and partners. Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations, quality standards, and operational requirements. Partner with quality and engineering teams to maintain robust quality management systems. Lead initiatives focused on risk mitigation, process validation, and operational reliability. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Financial & Strategic Management Develop and manage operational budgets and forecasts. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiencies. Support strategic planning, expansion initiatives, and commercialization efforts. Provide executive leadership with operational insights and recommendations. Team Leadership Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing operations teams. Foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture. Build leadership succession plans and organizational capability. Promote employee engagement, safety, and professional development. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or supply chain management. Proven success leading operations in a high-growth technology, manufacturing, medical device, industrial, or advanced materials environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, quality management, and operational excellence methodologies. Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale operational initiatives. Exceptional analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Master's degree (MBA, Engineering, or related discipline). Experience scaling manufacturing operations from development through commercialization. Knowledge of regulated industries and quality standards. Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent operational excellence training.
