Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2040 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:
Telemetry interpretation.
Telemetry monitoring.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Required Credentials:
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Common diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, and encounters for antineoplastic chemotherapy.
Cares for solid tumor cancer patients across the continuum from new diagnosis through treatment and transition to end-of-life care.
Heavy focus on infection prevention and patient falls.
Cares for patients with true med-surg issues.

Shift & Scheduling:
Day shift: 07:00 - 19:30. Night shift: 19:00 - 7:30.
Weekends variable based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements:
Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units.
