Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that directly impact the lives of our patients. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Offering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including methodologies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring patients receive the most effective care available.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions where patients can process their experiences, cultivate coping strategies, and foster a supportive community.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive, integrated care for patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and support in trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate assistance when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT within the state of Maryland.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities, with proficiency in trauma-focused therapeutic approaches.

Preferred Experience\n
