This position offers a remote work setting, enabling you to work from home while being part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving patient outcomes. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential evening shifts based on patient needs to ensure accessibility of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their specific needs and treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Lead individual counseling sessions, providing support and strategies for coping with the challenges of addiction recovery.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, creating a supportive environment that encourages sharing and peer connection among participants.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Provide education to patients and their families about addiction, recovery options, and community resources that can aid in the recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring patients’ rights and privacy are upheld.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• Extensive knowledge of substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in providing individual and group therapy focused on addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and a non-judgmental approach.
