This remote position allows you to integrate wellness into your daily routine while focusing on your professional responsibilities. Our current operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, establishing their unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Craft personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s situation.

• Lead individual counseling sessions utilizing motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to foster positive behavior change.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions where clients can share experiences and strategies for their recovery journey.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other addiction specialists to develop integrated care approaches, ensuring continuity and coordination in care delivery.

The unique challenges faced by these clients necessitate the application of a variety of therapeutic modalities aimed at supporting their journey toward healing and sustainable recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is necessary to practice.

• In-depth knowledge of the complexities surrounding substance use disorders, coupled with familiarity with evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy specifically in the realm of addiction treatment.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach toward clients.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while adhering strictly to ethical guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
