Summary


A global logistics and process engineering organization is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the food processing sector across North America. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and delivering tailored material handling and process engineering solutions. The position involves close collaboration with international teams and requires a blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the food processing industry.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and industry partners.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
• Prepare and deliver presentations showcasing products and solutions.
• Conduct site visits to understand customer needs and propose customized solutions.
• Collaborate with internal sales and technical teams to develop compelling proposals.
• Negotiate contracts aligned with both client objectives and company strategy.
• Provide feedback to technical teams and support post-sales activities.
• Monitor market trends, investment activities, and sales pipeline progress.
• Contribute to the development of a cohesive global sales strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Business.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B capital equipment sales, preferably within the EPC industry.
• Strong knowledge of powder and liquid handling systems (pneumatic conveying experience is a plus).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Commercially driven with a customer-focused and technical mindset.
• Fluent in English (native or bilingual proficiency).
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 20%, including occasional international travel).
