Work Environment\n

This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while contributing to an outpatient office environment. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and support staff, to ensure that our clients receive a holistic approach to their treatment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement effective treatment strategies.

• Education is a key component of your role; provide clients and their families with information on mood disorders, treatment options, and healthy self-care practices.

• Monitor and track client progress diligently, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize care and outcomes.

• Engage in integrated care practices by working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in treating mood disorders to continually enhance your therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines to support treatment transparency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your practice will be individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with a varied demographic that may include marginalized groups, individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and domestic abuse survivors. This diverse client base will provide you with the opportunity to apply your skills in an impactful way, helping clients navigate their mental health challenges and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
