Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of your clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and objectives.

• Implement and utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), during client sessions.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders and provide resources related to treatment options and self-care techniques.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Work in conjunction with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for your clients.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will focus primarily on individuals struggling with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may face unique challenges, such as homelessness, refugee status, or histories of domestic abuse. As such, our therapists are trained to approach each client with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and an understanding of their specific circumstances.

Qualifications\n
