Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Head Start Youth Counseling Center, you will:

• Consult with medical professionals regarding various patient care issues, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment.

• Complete clinical documentation and charting in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss effective treatment strategies and collaborate on patient care objectives.

• Provide individual psychotherapy services for clients experiencing mental health challenges.

• Facilitate marriage and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices tailored to clients' specific relational dynamics.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing the latest software tools to track client progress.

• Refer clients to appropriate group therapy, psychiatric medication management, and psychological testing services as needed.

• Manage crises effectively, employing de-escalation techniques and intervention strategies.

• Follow-up with clients who have missed appointments according to the established No-show policy.

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives, helping to enhance the quality of care provided within the mental health track.

• Represent the organization at community events, professional groups, and committees, reflecting our commitment to community engagement.

• Accept additional assignments that align with organizational goals and needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with families and individuals from diverse backgrounds, many of whom face complex psychosocial challenges. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
