Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ psychosocial issues by collaborating closely with medical center staff and utilizing evidence-based assessment tools.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual and family needs, ensuring regular updates and progress reviews through the required treatment planning software.
\n
• Provide high-quality individual psychotherapy and marriage and family therapy services, delivering sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Facilitate access to additional services such as psychiatric medication management, group therapy, psychological testing, and substance abuse resources when necessary.
\n
• Engage in crisis management efforts to provide immediate support to clients facing severe mental health challenges.
\n
• Complete all documentation and clinical charting in accordance with the healthcare system’s policies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
\n
• Participate actively in departmental initiatives for performance improvement and remain involved in assigned mental health committees or task forces.
\n
• Represent the organization at community outreach events and program committees to raise awareness about mental health issues and resources.
\n
• Proactively address client no-shows and follow through with appropriate interventions guided by the departmental policies.
\n
• Support non-patient care tasks as needed, including administrative responsibilities related to client referrals and treatment documentation.

The LMFT will primarily serve a diverse population of families and individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other psychosocial stressors. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
