Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screenings, and evaluations by assessing patients' conditions through both subjective and objective measures in conjunction with physician referrals.
• Design individualized treatment plans with realistic goals and measurable outcomes that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
• Administer therapeutic procedures and modalities based on established physical therapy practices, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Consult and educate patients as well as their caregivers about treatment options, exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications that support recovery and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and billing information per regulatory and departmental standards.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants, aides, office staff, and students to ensure high-quality patient care is consistently delivered.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education opportunities, workshops, and training sessions to refine clinical skills and knowledge.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives targeted towards enhancing patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, effectively communicating patients' needs, responses to treatment, and progress towards goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role encompasses a broad spectrum of patient populations, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients. Qualifications

• Current state Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong foundational knowledge and experience in therapeutic practices targeted toward the populations typically served at our facility.
