Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the mental health status of clients and identify their specific therapeutic needs.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client feedback, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.

• Provide regular follow-up sessions to offer continuous support and equip clients with coping strategies and resources necessary for overcoming challenges.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops that promote community and peer support while addressing mental health topics pertinent to diverse populations.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to mental health care.

• Document all client interactions, treatment modalities, and progress notes accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse array of clients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. This can include individuals struggling with anxiety disorders, depression, substance use disorders, trauma, and eating disorders. Your culturally competent approach will allow you to engage effectively with clients from various backgrounds and with different life experiences, ensuring equitable access to mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment practices and a deep understanding of mental health disorders.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to navigate high-stress situations calmly and professionally.

Preferred Experience\n
