Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ social, emotional, and environmental needs to formulate individualized service plans.

• Provide high-quality counseling services to individuals and families facing various challenges—ranging from academic stress to mental health crises—guided by evidence-based practices.

• Engage clients with a collaborative approach, developing and monitoring service plans that include actionable goals and interventions.

• Facilitate effective crisis intervention, including risk assessments and safety planning for clients in urgent need of support.

• Act as an advocate by building connections between clients and community resources, helping them navigate systems for housing, employment, and mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will largely focus on students and their families, many of whom are facing significant barriers to education and emotional wellness. By addressing issues such as trauma from domestic violence, substance abuse, and socio-economic challenges, you will help empower these individuals to overcome obstacles that affect their academic success and overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
