Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Conduct comprehensive culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique backgrounds and needs.

• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific identified needs of each client.
\n
• Document treatment plans, complete billing activities, and ensure timely submission of insurance authorization forms.
\n
• Develop actionable crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies to assist clients in maintaining stable functioning.
\n
• Create and implement discharge plans that effectively support clients’ transition from therapy to independence.
\n
• Stay compliant with all federal and state regulations, ensuring the highest standard of care.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and continuing education.
\n
• Participate in team case consultations and hold regular meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
\n
• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory onboarding training upon joining Serenity Peaks.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in the State of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, ideal candidates may have experience working in outpatient clinical settings, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, and a track record of developing effective therapy techniques that engage clients in their treatment processes. Knowledge of community resources in Austin, Texas, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
