Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new clients to understand their history, challenges, and therapeutic needs. This may include utilizing standardized questionnaires and conducting interviews to gather relevant information.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with each client's goals and desired outcomes, which may involve goal-setting and periodic reviews of progress.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions addressing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems. You will introduce evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each group's dynamics.

• Build strong, trusting relationships with clients by employing active listening and empathetic engagement, thus fostering a safe space for open dialogue.

• Collaborate effectively with medical and mental health practitioners, as well as community resources, to ensure comprehensive and continuous support for patients.

• Participate in staff meetings and case consultations to share insights, discuss challenging cases, and contribute new ideas to enhance service delivery and program effectiveness.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with the latest research, methodologies, and best practices in mental health through workshops, seminars, and credential renewal courses.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Serenity Wellness, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses. You will actively engage with clients facing emotional challenges, life transitions, relationship issues, and trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active and appropriate state license or certification, such as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on individual and group therapy.

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, enabling quick rapport-building and effective communication with a wide array of clients.

• Prior experience in utilizing electronic medical records systems to maintain accurate client documentation and treatment progress.
