Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and evidence-based.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to address a range of challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and interpersonal relationships.

• Establish and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients, utilizing effective communication techniques to promote trust and openness.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care is delivered, coordinating with psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers as needed.

• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training, to remain abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new therapeutic modalities.

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by providing feedback and ideas aimed at enhancing our programs and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Serenity Wellness, you will work closely with individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and socioeconomic statuses. Our clientele may include those struggling with chronic mental illnesses, trauma survivors, and those seeking support for day-to-day life challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active license or certification to practice in Arizona (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) is required.

• A minimum of three years of direct experience working with individuals facing emotional challenges is essential.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on the ability to build rapport and foster relationships with clients and team members alike.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans, is preferred but not mandatory.

• Experience in group therapy facilitation with a focus on specific issues such as substance abuse, grief, or cognitive behavioral therapy is a plus.

• The salary range for this role is competitive, ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
