Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments for new clients to understand their emotional and psychological needs, leading to the creation of individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions addressing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics.

• Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans based on feedback and observed outcomes, ensuring approaches remain relevant and effective.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop coordinated strategies that address the holistic needs of clients, incorporating feedback from medical professionals when necessary.

• Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The individuals you will work with encompass a wide demographic, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Many clients may present with complex backgrounds, including trauma histories and co-occurring mental health disorders. Counselors should be prepared to adapt their therapeutic approaches to suit varied cultural and socio-economic contexts, honoring each client’s unique journey toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) applicable in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience working directly with clients facing a range of emotional challenges.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport quickly and effectively with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, which can streamline documentation processes and enhance client tracking.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.

• A competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, based on experience and caseload.
