Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs, and monitor progress through ongoing documentation, including assessments, treatment reviews, and case notes.

• Maintain an active caseload of at least 27 client visits each week to ensure a robust practice and consistent engagement with diverse clients.

• Collaborate closely with a dynamic team of clinicians and case managers to enhance service delivery and increase community impact, fostering a holistic approach to mental health care.

• Employ creative interventions and evidence-based practices to empower clients in achieving personal goals, promoting emotional growth and stability.

• Prepare and submit detailed documentation for each client session in alignment with our clinic’s guidelines to ensure compliance and quality care.
\n
• Coordinate with case managers, family members, healthcare providers, and school staff as necessary to provide comprehensive support to clients.

• Engage actively in clinical staff meetings and training workshops that promote ongoing professional development and teamwork.

• Contribute positively to the clinic culture by collaborating with colleagues, sharing insights, and fostering a supportive environment for both clients and team members.

In this role, you will work with a varied clientele, including children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. We prioritize cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in our practice, focusing on providing effective therapeutic support to BIPOC, LGBTQ+ individuals, and bilingual clients. Your work will be pivotal in shaping a safe and affirming environment where clients feel valued and understood, enhancing their engagement in the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid LMFT license in the state of Maryland is mandatory for this role.

• Demonstrated experience in completing clinical documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and thorough case notes.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with clients and team members.
\n
• Ability to handle documentation and administrative tasks efficiently and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with clinic policies.

• Proven ability to establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients, contributing to a safe therapeutic relationship.

• Experience and comfort working with a diverse client base, and an understanding of the importance of inclusivity in therapeutic practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and experience with Electronic Health Record systems, with familiarity in systems like Valant being a plus.

• A clean background check is required for all candidates.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health or clinic setting is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and practices, especially in delivering therapy services remotely.

• Skills in crisis intervention and short-term therapy methodologies are advantageous.

• Experience with family therapy, play therapy, or other specialized treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, new hires will receive a sign-on bonus upon joining our team.
