Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, crafting personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as appropriate.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops on emotional well-being, offering skills development in areas such as communication and coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, complying with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including training in therapeutic techniques and cultural competency to enhance practice.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to coordinate care and support for clients facing complex challenges.

• Engage with clients through telehealth platforms, ensuring a secure and confidential environment for sensitive discussions.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or an equivalent field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Valid, active, and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Proficient in both English and Spanish, with strong oral, written, and non-verbal communication skills to provide effective bilingual services.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or mental health setting working with a diverse range of clients, including families and children.
\n
• Deep respect for the cultural and individual identities of clients, skillfully integrating this understanding into therapy sessions.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methods (CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR).
\n
• Proven ability to engage effectively with clients from varied ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
\n
• Strong motivation to enhance skills, particularly in short-term individual and group therapy practices.

• Competence in EHR software and Microsoft Office.
\n
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and car insurance.
\n
• Availability to work at least two evenings per week and one weekend day, with reliable attendance to meet client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in trauma, grief and loss, perinatal mental health, or LGBTQ+ support is highly valued.

• Experience providing services as an in-network provider for insurance panels.
\n
• Established skills in triaging client crises and assessing risk factors.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 105,000 per year, with additional bonuses based on performance and client engagement.
