Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, enabling you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. As part of a community health clinic, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers. Our work schedule is designed with flexibility in mind, though generally, you will be available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. Depending on patient needs, some adjustments in your schedule may be necessary to ensure optimal care delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients and develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), applying your clinical expertise to ensure effective treatment.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all patient information is handled with the utmost care and confidentiality.

• Collaborate with the treatment team in case consultations and peer review meetings, drawing on collective knowledge to enhance the quality of care.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, providing insights into effective treatment options and community resources available to them.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist with Marvelous Counseling Services, you will provide care to a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and personal relationship issues. Your role will be critical in encouraging individuals to engage in their recovery process, develop coping strategies, and enhance their quality of life. You will be instrumental in helping clients foster resilience and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the application of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions tailored to meet the distinct needs of individuals.
