Associate Analytical Chemist - 1st & 2nd shift available!

The Associate Analytical Chemist performs routine and specialized laboratory testing on food and dietary supplement products to support nutritional analysis and quality standards.

This role offers hands-on experience with wet chemistry, analytical instrumentation, and microbiological techniques in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment with strong opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical identification, quality testing, and analytical assays on a variety of products.
• Conduct wet chemistry testing, including titrations, gravimetric analysis, sample preparation, and solution preparation.
• Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as FTIR, UV-Vis, HPLC, GC, IC, and automated titration systems.
• Perform microbiological assays, pipetting, and data interpretation as required.
• Accurately document test results and maintain compliance with laboratory procedures.
• Manage multiple assays and priorities while ensuring quality, accuracy, and turnaround times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet client deadlines and support laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Knowledge of wet chemistry techniques and laboratory practices.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation or willingness to learn.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
