Clinical Research Technician II / Madison, WI (On-Site)

Fortrea seeks a Clinical Research Technician II for its Madison, WI early-phase clinical research unit. The role involves direct participant interaction, vital sign collection, sample processing, and ECG preparation across diverse Phase 1 studies. This full-time, on-site position supports drug safety and tolerability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs including blood pressure, venipuncture, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate
• Prepare and accurately record ECGs and Holter monitor readings
• Collect and process biological samples per protocol specifications
• Monitor participant dietary compliance and maintain study environment safety and cleanliness
• Assist with screening procedures and preparation of clinical equipment and rooms

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA, or CNA certification preferred
• 0–1 year related clinical or research experience
• Ability to work upright or stationary for 6–8 hours daily
• Proficiency with electronic data collection systems and computer software
• Strong attention to detail and protocol adherence
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
