Sales Account Manager

We are currently seeking to appoint a Sales Account Manager for one of our clients based in Upstate New York. Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing environmental services platform operating across waste management, industrial cleaning, remediation, and emergency response. This is a senior commercial opportunity focused on driving revenue growth, expanding client relationships, and supporting the continued scale of the business. Backed by private equity and led by an experienced leadership team, the business has invested heavily in infrastructure, processing capability, and acquisitions, positioning itself as a leading provider within an underserved regional market. Reporting directly into executive leadership, the Sales Account Manager will take responsibility for business development, account growth, and market expansion across key industrial sectors. The role combines strategic sales planning with hands‑on client engagement, requiring a proactive and commercially driven approach. Key Responsibilities Developing and executing account-level growth strategies across target industrial markets Identifying and securing new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships Building long-term partnerships with key decision-makers across manufacturing, utilities, chemical, and transportation sectors Managing the full sales cycle including client engagement, proposal development, and contract negotiation Collaborating with operational teams to ensure effective service delivery and client satisfaction Maintaining accurate pipeline reporting and supporting forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities Contributing to broader commercial initiatives including marketing efforts, industry engagement, and market intelligence Supporting growth initiatives including cross-selling service lines and contributing to acquisition-related opportunities The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years’ experience within environmental services, waste management, industrial cleaning, or a related sector. A proven track record in business development and account growth is essential, along with experience selling into industrial environments. Candidates should demonstrate strong commercial acumen, relationship-building capability, and the ability to operate effectively within a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented business. This is a high-impact commercial role offering strong earning potential, direct exposure to leadership, and the opportunity to play a key role in the expansion of a well‑capitalized and ambitious platform.
