Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote and includes occasional opportunities for in-person interactions at our outpatient office. You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of some evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs, psychological well-being, and establish appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based methodologies tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and other mental health specialists, to ensure cohesive and holistic care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating composure and effectiveness under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and available resources within the community.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance.

• Engage in case discussions, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at our clinic, you will work with a broad range of clients, including individuals suffering from anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Our patient population is diverse, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of Miami, requiring sensitivity, adaptability, and a commitment to culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, showcasing the ability to efficiently document and track patient progress.

Compensation and Benefits\n
