This therapist position operates in a flexible remote setting, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your home while maintaining a full schedule. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to evaluate the nature and severity of mood disorders, employing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans based on their unique histories, needs, and treatment goals, ensuring these plans are dynamic and adaptable.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective interventions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment strategies, and self-care methods, fostering a supportive and informed environment.

• Monitor clients' progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and encourage client engagement in their treatment journey.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to develop integrated care plans that encompass both therapeutic and pharmacological approaches.

• Stay informed of the latest research and treatment strategies in the field of mental health to ensure the highest standards of care.

• Maintain accurate and secure documentation of client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights and learning from others in a collaborative environment.

• Serve as an advocate for mental health awareness, working to reduce stigma surrounding mood disorders and promote community understanding and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. This role requires adapting therapeutic techniques to meet the varied needs of clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Florida.

• Proficient in delivering evidence-based therapies and the flexibility to adapt approaches based on individual client needs.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and collaboration skills to work with psychiatrists and integrate treatment plans effectively.

• Demonstrated success in achieving positive outcomes in treatment for mood-related disorders.

• Excellent communication abilities to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families, fostering a therapeutic alliance.

Preferred Experience\n
