Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to fully understand clients' mental health challenges, establishing accurate clinical diagnoses that inform treatment strategies.

• Design and implement customized therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Mindfulness-based approaches, to meet the distinct goals and needs of each client.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients encountering acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and stability.
\n
• Document comprehensive client records efficiently, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of mental health professionals including psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists, to create integrated care plans that address all aspects of a client’s wellbeing.

• Engage in the education of clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, serving as an advocate for their needs.

• Stay actively engaged in your professional development by participating in ongoing training, workshops, and other educational opportunities to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of service.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse and multifaceted client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and other mental health issues. By utilizing individualized treatment plans, you will empower clients to overcome obstacles and improve their overall mental health. Our clients range from children to older adults, with varying cultural backgrounds, and require a therapist who can understand and respect their unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Illinois (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW).

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field is required, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred.

• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential for successful outcomes.

• A proven track record of at least two years in a similar role, delivering therapeutic services in clinical settings.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

• Ability to operate independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team environment.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards of practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• While a minimum of two years' experience is required, we encourage professionals with additional specialized training or experience in trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic modalities to apply.

Compensation and Benefits\n
