Vice President of Accounting

AGSE is seeking a results-driven Vice President of Accounting to lead the financial team across our global organization. The VP Finance will be a member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing financial reporting, planning, and risk management. This role requires both high-level strategic thinking and hands‑on financial management experience in a dynamic and growing environment. Work Location & Travel Requirements This is a fully onsite position based at the company’s facility. Regular in-person collaboration is required to support daily activities, and manufacturing operations. Relocation assistance or sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the worksite. Job Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership Exemplify, retain, and communicate “up to date” ASC, GAAP, IFRS, and related accounting pronouncements in accurate financial reporting for domestic and international business units and affiliated entities. Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Serve as a strategic advisor to the COO on financial planning and business operations. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive leadership team. Accounting, Reporting, and Risk Management Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with ASC, GAAP, and IFRS pronouncements to ensure meeting regulatory reporting standards. Oversee statutory audit requirements with international operations.li> Oversee cost accounting and related functions. Maintain a strong internal control environment. Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks. Oversee tax compliance and reporting requirements. Tax and Compliance. Have a knowledge and understanding of tax compliance and reporting requirements for an international company. Provide timely and accurate financial analysis, performance metrics, and business insights. Monitor financial performance and proactively recommend corrective actions. Supporting M&A opportunities, as may be required, include due diligence and analysis. Cash Flow & Treasury Management Manage cash flow and banking relationships and provide input to ownership on investment strategies. Oversee financing, capital structure, and risk management initiatives. Operational Efficiency Evaluate and optimize financial systems, tools, and processes for scalability and efficiency. Partner with department heads to drive financial discipline across the organization. Lead commercial insurance and risk management. Understanding of insurance requirements for a multi-entity international organization. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration. Job Requirements and Minimum Qualifications You MUST have a bachelor’s degree in accounting. You MUST have significant up-to-date knowledge in ASC, GAAP, You MUST have significant knowledge of cost accounting in a manufacturing setting. Must be comfortable working ONSITE only. 8 to 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience. Minimum 4 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and business operations Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills Proficiency with financial software and systems (e.g., ERP, Excel, BI tools, tableau) Preferred Experience MBA or Master's Degree CPA License preferred 3 years of prior experience as a Vice President of a sizable/complex organization. Scaling manufacturing operations or transitioning through growth phases. Familiarity with international operations, trade compliance, or multi-entity reporting. Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Prior experience with Epicor ERP software. Job Type: Full-Time Employment Pay: Base Salary Range $240,000 to $260,000 per year, PLUS discretionary bonus up to 35% of base. This role is considered exempt and an “ONSITE” role only.
