FlexLife Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Physical Therapist to join our esteemed team at our San Jose, California rehabilitation center. As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will work closely with other therapists, assistants, and healthcare professionals within a facility equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and specific symptoms, utilizing your expertise to gain a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop personalized treatment plans that target individual goals, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each patient's unique requirements.
• Educate patients in the application of therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand how to perform exercises correctly and safely to facilitate their recovery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques such as stimulation and massage to promote healing, alleviating pain and enhancing mobility.
• Assist patients in utilizing rehabilitation equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers, and therapeutic modalities, ensuring safe usage that supports their mobility.
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress, setting measurable goals to monitor developments and communicate advancements with both patients and their families.
• Provide guidance to patients and their families on effective in-home treatment options and exercises, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults facing various challenges, from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. This wide-ranging patient demographic allows for a dynamic work experience where methods of treatment can be innovatively applied to different scenarios.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid physical therapy license in the state of California.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Proficiency in contemporary medical documentation and rehabilitation tools, including electronic health records (EHR).
• A flexible and adaptive mindset, allowing for adjustments to treatment plans based on patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric and geriatric populations is highly valued.
• Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques, such as dry needling or postural restoration, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, our benefits package includes:
