Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, focusing on their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide educational support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment pathways, and self-care strategies to foster ongoing mental health.

• Regularly monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in frequent collaboration with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care, enhancing treatment efficacy.

• Stay current with emerging research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders, integrating new findings into your therapeutic approach.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will be part of a transformative process that helps clients understand their conditions, develop coping strategies, and work towards recovery within a compassionate and understanding framework.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work.
\n
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on mood disorders.

• Understanding of California mental health laws and professional ethics.
\n
• Ability to pass a current background check through the FBI and DOJ.
\n
• Current Tuberculosis (TB) test within the last 6 months.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients facing learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and social-emotional challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n
