Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, identify their severity, frequency, and impact on daily life.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other therapeutic models.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of treatment progress, including regular updates to treatment plans based on client feedback, clinical advancements, and goals.
\n
• Educate clients and families about mood disorders, potential treatment options, and self-help strategies to promote coping and resilience.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to mental health care.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional education and remain current with research and trends in marriage and family therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, promoting public understanding and reducing stigma associated with mental health challenges.

• Engage in continual professional development opportunities to refine skills and techniques in therapy modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on individuals and families experiencing challenges in their relationships and emotional well-being, including those impacted by divorce and relationship counseling. You will have the opportunity to help clients navigate their experiences, improve communication patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

• A strong sense of empathy and a nonjudgmental approach toward clients’ life experiences.
