Work Environment

This position is an onsite role, primarily based in the comfort of patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including reviewing patient histories, performing targeted assessments, and documenting findings accurately to create individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment objectives effectively to both patients and their families, involving them in the goal-setting process to enhance engagement.
• Implement treatment protocols meticulously based on patient evaluations, adapting approaches as necessary to respond to the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, identifying any shifts in patient conditions that necessitate adjustments in care plans.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care effectively, ensuring timely documentation of all patient interactions, including evaluations and progress notes to create a coherent record of patient care.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet productivity benchmarks, maintain an organized schedule, and contribute actively to both clinical and community marketing initiatives.
• Engage in ongoing education initiatives to enhance professional competencies and stay ahead of industry best practices, while also serving as a mentor to students in clinical training.
• Champion a customer-first approach, striving to eliminate barriers to access and ensuring that every patient experience is positive.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Scripps, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, or seeking physical rehabilitation due to injury. Our focus on compassionate care ensures that each patient receives tailored attention that respects their unique circumstances and preferences.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid DPT license for the state of New Jersey is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Although prior work experience is not required, candidates with at least two years of relevant experience in outpatient or home healthcare settings will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance.
