CGP: Interim AccuFund Accounting Systems Consultant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Finance & ERP Consultant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $70.00 to $85.00 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review audit progress and compile the financial materials needed for external reviews.
• Examine tax-related filings to identify areas where compliance may be incomplete.
• Verify that board governance practices align with regulatory and organizational expectations.
• Troubleshoot finance system modules, workflows, and configurations to resolve functional issues.
• Restore or enhance system-generated reports, dashboards, and historical financial data for improved accuracy.

• 10+ years of experience in nonprofit financial management or accounting.
• Extensive hands-on experience with nonprofit-focused financial systems and their configurations.
• Proven history of financial system cleanup, including correcting reporting and setup issues.
• Background working with audit processes and nonprofit tax documentation.
• Ability to stabilize financial systems and implement improved operational practices.

• Strong skills in ERP troubleshooting and optimization with a record of resolving system issues.
• Demonstrate the ability to repair workflows, approval paths, and account mappings.
• Prior experience improving internal controls and strengthening accounting processes.
• Understanding of how system remediation may lead into broader ERP evaluation or implementation.
• Familiarity with a range of nonprofit ERP platforms (such as Blackbaud, Intacct, Dynamics, Sage, or QuickBooks).
