Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing our counselors the flexibility to perform their duties from home or any location that provides a suitable work environment, while still maintaining a collaborative relationship with other team members. Utilizing telehealth technology, counselors will engage with clients through secure video conferencing platforms. This setup ensures that both clients and counselors are comfortable and that therapy can be delivered effectively across various geographic areas.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify needs, challenges, and suitable treatment plans tailored to individual or family circumstances.

• Facilitate therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant methods.

• Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment goals and strategies that empower them to achieve mental health aspirations.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate client documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, engaging in ongoing evaluation for optimal outcomes.

• Actively participate in team meetings and trainings to stay updated on best practices and to enhance professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors work with a wide range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• An active Vermont LCMHC license is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
