Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will engage in a comprehensive range of clinical activities, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' experiences and symptoms related to mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Collaboratively developing individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique goals and therapeutic needs.
\n
• Providing evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to individual cases.

• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices.
\n
• Monitoring clients' progress throughout their treatment journeys, making adjustments to plans as warranted based on their evolving needs.
\n
• Working closely with psychiatrists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential records of client assessments, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in regular team meetings and professional consultations to enhance clinical skills and share knowledge regarding best practices.

• Advocating for clients and promoting a culture of understanding and support regarding mental health needs and stigma reduction.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals grappling with mood disorders, who may include adults, adolescents, and families. You will work with clients from various socioeconomic backgrounds, each bringing unique challenges and stories. Your compassionate and personalized approach will be essential in guiding them through their therapeutic journeys and addressing their mental health needs with dignity and respect.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Washington State as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT is required.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches, especially in CBT and DBT for treating mood disorders.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to engage collaboratively with psychiatrists regarding client medication management.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing the establishment of rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience delivering successful outcomes in a mental health setting focused specifically on mood disorders.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
