Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for individuals seeking counseling to understand their psychological, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

• Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment plans in accordance with best practices and ethical guidelines to meet the evolving needs of clients.

• Provide one-on-one counseling and therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families, using a variety of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), client-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of each session, including client progress, treatment plans, and any notable changes in condition, while adhering to confidentiality standards.

• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community organizations, to ensure a holistic approach to client health and well-being.

• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay current with new therapeutic methods and evidence-based practices in the field of counseling.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably within a clinical or community health setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other counseling-related software.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
