Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Myers Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting all phases of therapy, including initial assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up evaluations.
\n
• Providing individual, couples, and family therapy sessions that address various issues such as familial conflict, communication problems, grief and loss, and adjustment to separation and divorce.
\n
• Developing therapeutic approaches that are tailored to the unique dynamics of each family and individual.
\n
• Facilitating workshops and support groups focusing on relationship enhancement and family dynamics.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create a coordinated care plan that addresses the holistic needs of clients.
\n
• Documenting clinical encounters accurately in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents, facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients come from different backgrounds and present unique family systems requiring tailored therapeutic strategies. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• An empathetic approach accompanied by a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' diverse experiences.

• Strong organizational skills, accompanied by effective time-management to manage a full client caseload efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
