Key Account Executive

Kimball Midwest

Key Account Executive (Hybrid) As a Key Account Executive, you will focus on obtaining larger or multi-location accounts and partnering with local sales representatives to further develop those accounts. Compensation & Benefits 1st year compensation plans range from $65,000-$105,000. Commission on sales: rate varies from 0% to 12% depending on product, amount, and price sold. Mileage and expense reimbursement. Medical, dental, life, disability insurance, 401k, and deferred compensation plan. Responsibilities Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory with the local sales team to understand their business needs and identify opportunities. Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential large customers to grow a book of business. Planning & Priority Setting: Plan the week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth. Market Knowledge: Demonstrate products to potential customers to show value and quality. Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas using proven sales programs and processes learned in training workshops. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities by inputting information into systems and reporting cost‑savings to customers. Requirements Ability to travel within assigned geographic area, holding required insurance coverage minimums. Execution of Employment Agreement and/or revised Employment Agreement exhibits, with prior review. Minimum 5 years of strategic selling experience.
