Expedite Account Manager

Job Description

Express Logistics is looking for an Expedite Account Manager to manage and support customer accounts with time-sensitive freight needs.

In this role, you’ll serve as the main point of contact for your customers , managing shipments from quote through delivery and making sure they always know what’s happening with their freight. Expedite moves quickly, so we’re looking for someone who can think on their feet, manage multiple priorities at once, and communicate clearly when plans change.

We’ll provide training on our processes and systems, but some previous logistics or transportation experience is a plus , preferably within a 3PL or freight brokerage environment.

What You’ll Do

\n

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned expedite customer accounts
\n
• Manage customer requests, quotes, shipment updates, and day-to-day account needs
\n
• Track freight from pickup through delivery and provide proactive, timely updates
\n
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal Operations teams to keep shipments moving
\n
• Respond quickly to changes, delays, missed appointments, capacity issues, and other shipment challenges
\n
• Problem-solve in real time and communicate solutions clearly to customers
\n
• Maintain accurate shipment details, notes, and updates within our TMS
\n
• Build strong customer relationships through reliability, responsiveness, and follow-through
\n
• Look for opportunities to strengthen and grow existing customer accounts
\n

What We’re Looking For

\n

\n
• Previous logistics or transportation experience
\n
• 3PL, freight brokerage, expedite, or time-critical transportation experience
\n
• Experience working directly with customers or managing customer accounts
\n
• Able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adjust quickly when circumstances change
\n
• Quick learner who can pick up new systems, customers, and processes
\n
