Product Specialist – SME Third‑Party & Partnership Operations

As a Product Specialist, you’ll transform complex onboarding, risk, and operational requirements into clear, predictable journeys that unlock growth for partners and the business alike. Your work directly influences speed to market, portfolio health, and partner trust—making this a highly visible, high‑impact role with meaningful room to grow. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in execution‑heavy environments, enjoys working cross‑functionally, and wants to build deep expertise at the intersection of products, partnerships, and risk. What you’ll be doing Own end‑to‑end onboarding execution for SME ecosystem partners, service providers, and vendors—from initial intake through launch readiness Coordinate risk and due diligence activities, including documentation collection, alignment across teams, and submission readiness Act as the operational quarterback, tracking progress, risks, dependencies, and timelines across multiple partners simultaneously Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparts to maintain momentum and resolve blockers quickly Build and maintain high‑quality onboarding artifacts, including trackers, dashboards, and standardized SME documentation Support remediation and issue resolution, driving follow‑ups, evidence tracking, and clear closure of actions Apply standard onboarding frameworks while adapting to different SME business models, use cases, and partner profiles What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience Experience in product operations, partner operations, vendor management, compliance, sourcing, or a related field Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with strong organization and follow‑through High attention to detail paired with clear, confident stakeholder communication A genuine interest in SMEs, fintech, platform products, or partnership‑driven ecosystems What success looks like You independently manage assigned SME partners with confidence and credibility Risks, issues, and dependencies are identified early and handled proactively Internal teams and external partners trust you to keep onboarding moving and aligned You help build scalable, repeatable onboarding outcomes that support portfolio growth You are seen as a go‑to operator and a strong candidate for expanded scope over time Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:
