Accounts Receivable Payable Clerk

Job Description As a small business, everyone pitches in when needed. In addition to the responsibilities listed below, you'll occasionally assist with other reasonable administrative tasks that help keep the office running smoothly. Essential Job Functions Processing accounts payable and receivable; handling collections Retaining historical records through the accurate filling of documents Perform month end and year end duties Track and restore all financial activities Completing bank and general ledger reconciliations Prepare reports to show receipt expenditures Maintain vendor and customer information Daily financial data entry Reconcile statements, suppliers and client accounts Manage corporate credit cards & employee expenses Generate and mail statements upon requests Interact with customers to resolve payment issues Research and process customer claims of invoice payment Generate reports and find discrepancies as well as cost savings opportunities Collect daily mail from the campus general mailbox on site Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Accounting and 2+ years of previous AR/AP experience Manufacturing experience preferred Proficient with QuickBooks Proficient with AS400 Experience using Microsoft 365 Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail are a must Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with all individuals Capable of working independently with minimal supervision Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures or job assignments Company Description At JMA Logistics, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, growing logistics company that plays an important role in keeping the automotive supply chain moving.
