Temp HR Admin Assistant

$24 - $25 per hour

Looking for a temporary Administrative Assistant We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a busy HR department and Director for a growing non‑profit. This temporary role includes a range of office, desktop publishing, and database management tasks. It is fully on‑site and a long‑term consulting assignment. What You'll Do Handle general office functions including correspondence, supply ordering, bulk mailings, and meeting minutes Greet and direct visitors and manage incoming calls Coordinate program logistics such as scheduling, meeting space, and meal arrangements Maintain and develop computer databases for program statistics Prepare professional documents including newsletters, brochures, and reports Organize and maintain office filing systems Provide accurate information and referrals to clients and customers What We're Looking For High school diploma and at least 1 year of general office experience Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel; MS Access and Publisher a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Compassionate, patient, and culturally sensitive approach to working with diverse populations Valid California driver's license (required if driving on company business) Bilingual skills a plus Why Join Us?
