Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and modify treatment programs to align with the physician's instructions and ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to treat a diverse range of conditions, focusing on orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine patients.
• Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, fostering trust and rapport with patients.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and share knowledge.
• Assist patients in their home environments, applying therapeutic techniques aimed at improving their condition and functionality.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and track outcomes to meet organization and usage goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. Your clinical expertise will be vital in assessing their needs and developing effective rehabilitation strategies. You will treat patients of all ages, providing services that enhance their quality of life and help them regain mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in Florida.
• Minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to foster patient interactions and teamwork.
• Computer literacy, including experience with documentation software and patient management systems.
• A strong commitment to building patient relationships to help them achieve their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years in the field is required, we prefer candidates who have specialized experience in orthopedic care and a track record of using evidence-based techniques to enhance patient recovery.
