Flexibility is key, as the schedule may include occasional evenings or weekends to meet the needs of our clients and ensure they receive continuous support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients' psychosocial needs, integrating emotional, mental, and social aspects into the evaluation process.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans that align with each client’s specific goals, preferences, and needs.

• Provide empathetic counseling and emotional support to clients and their families, assisting them through various life transitions, including recovery from addiction.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and facilitate access to critical community resources, ensuring their needs are met throughout their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor client progress through virtual visits, discussing their challenges and making necessary adjustments to their care plans.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring all aspects of the client’s health are addressed.

• Educate clients about available community resources and support groups that can foster holistic recovery and social engagement.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation, including assessments, care plans, and notes about client interactions, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Social Worker in our detox center, your primary focus will be on supporting clients dealing with substance use disorders, alongside individuals facing mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. You will work with a diverse client base, including seniors, adults, and families, recognizing the unique challenges each population faces. Your interventions will aim to empower clients to regain control over their lives and navigate recovery successfully.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• At least two years of relevant experience in social work, with a preference for roles that focus on addiction treatment or services for the elderly. Experience within community settings is a plus.

• Proficient knowledge of social work principles, addiction-related issues, and community resources necessary for client support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
