As a therapist at Thrive Counseling, you will work in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexible scheduling and the comfort of your own workspace. Our outpatient office model means you will see clients through teletherapy sessions, providing greater accessibility for clients who may have barriers to in-person visits. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to accurately determine clients’ mental health needs and provide personalized therapeutic interventions.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s goals, utilizing evidence-based and solution-focused therapeutic approaches.

• Engage in individual therapy sessions with adult clients, delivering care through teletherapy platforms that enhance accessibility and connection.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention as necessary, ensuring clients receive immediate support and guidance in challenging situations.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay informed about best practices in mental health care and continuously enhance your skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with adult clients who present a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will play a vital role in helping these individuals navigate their mental health journeys, providing them with the tools and strategies necessary to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to create a trusting relationship with clients.

• A compassionate and empathetic demeanor, demonstrating a non-judgmental attitude toward client challenges.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage your time effectively while handling multiple clients.

• A clean disciplinary record with no history of board actions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling is advantageous, as it will enhance your effectiveness in delivering services remotely.
