Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to meticulously evaluate each patient's trauma history, guiding tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to unpack their experiences and emotions.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and heightened patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention for trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate support and guidance to patients in distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is required for practice in Georgia.
