Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients, including a review of pertinent medical history, functional performance, and specific orthopedic evaluations.
• Communicate evaluation findings to patients and their families, explaining the treatment plan and collaboratively setting goals to enhance engagement in the recovery process.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols based on assessment results, adapting approaches to meet changing patient needs and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including progress notes and discharge summaries, to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in ongoing team meetings and contribute to department objectives and marketing initiatives to enhance community engagement.
• Comply with all governmental and accreditation regulations, continuously striving to improve patient care standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The orthopedic physical therapist will work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population ranges from young athletes to elderly individuals, all requiring tailored rehabilitation strategies to facilitate their recovery. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
