Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of couples and families, identifying their unique needs and challenges.

• Facilitate therapy sessions with couples, working on relationship dynamics, communication issues, and conflict resolution.

• Provide individual counseling sessions for family members to address specific concerns, such as grief and loss, job-related stress, or medical issues.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that encompass therapeutic goals and strategies for family healing.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based practices to guide interventions, ensuring effective outcomes for clients

• Monitor and document clients' progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client base, including couples, adults, children, and adolescents. Your focus will range from addressing issues related to:

• Parent-child conflicts, including mother/daughter dynamics

• Separation and divorce adjustments
\n
• Sibling rivalries and family conflicts

• Overall communication difficulties within families

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working with diverse populations and various therapeutic modalities will be advantageous. Candidates who have been recently licensed or have relevant experience in telehealth are greatly encouraged to apply. Flexible availability for both teletherapy and in-person sessions is essential, with a commitment of at least 30 hours per week.
