Staff Accountant Location: Danvers, MA (Hybrid - 2 days in office / 3 days remote) Compensation: $75,000-$80,000 + 5% target bonus + 3% 401(k) match Reason for Opening: Growth in workload and upcoming projects ERP: Great Plains About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in general ledger accounting who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and is looking to expand their skill set. Key Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations as part of the month-end close process. Support general ledger accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed. Provide support for payroll processing (training will be provided). Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of financial and payroll information. Assist with ongoing accounting projects and process improvements. Qualifications 3+ years of Staff Accountant or related accounting experience (not an entry-level opportunity). Strong experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Working knowledge of AP and AR. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle confidential financial and payroll information with discretion. Experience with Great Plains is a plus but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
